Running mystifies me. It really does. Just when I think I’ve got my groove on, it trips me up. I can be absolutely sure that I’ve done everything right leading up to a long run and then bonk after 5 miles. Then, on the flip side, there are days when I go out expecting the worst and I rock it. So I suppose the key is staying nimble, doing the best you can to prepare, and not taking it too seriously either way. Hmmmmmm, kinda like life, wouldn’t you say?
